We enjoyed our New Year's by spending time as a family of 3 at Ben and Elaine's condo in North Myrtle Beach. It was a little cold but that didn't keep us from bundling up and taking a walk each day on the beach. We loved it and Meredith ab
solutely LOVED seeing the waves and seagulls. It is so much fun watching her starting to understand more and more around her each day. Meredith didn't handle the sleeping arrangements away from home that well so we ended up coming home a day early. I think we were all thankful, though, for one last day of rest at home before returning to our daily grind tomorrow. I am so thankful that both John and I have jobs that allow for us to have extended vacations so that we can spend time as a family.
This past year has been both a thrilling and stressful one. We are thankful that we have remained healthy, have grown spiritually, and loved one another deeper. Here is to 2009 and what it has to bring...come what may!
