Fun at the Beach!

We just got back from the beach a couple days ago and what a great time Meredith had! We were there with John's family and Meredith really enjoyed getting a prolonged amount of time with them (but we missed Anna Ruth, Chad, and Baylee). IV and Meredith play really well together and he read Meredith lots of books which she LOVED. Meredith enjoyed the sand and playing in it but was a little hesitant when it came to the water. We pretty much spent each morning at the pool, followed by a nap, and finally a trip to the beach. The pool was a new experience and I think Meredith loved it and hated it all at the same time. She seemed to change her mind with each passing moment. By the end of our trip, though, she really enjoyed it. Our favorite evening with her, though, was a trip to the aquarium (pictures to come). She was completely in awe of the big "fishies" and even touched a horseshoe crab! We are looking forward to another trip soon! Here are some pictures!
